Naked Granola, LLC. Naked Granola Cookies... The Perfect Snack for Everyone! Hi, my name is Hitham and this is my story. I needed a snack for me and my kids that we could enjoy while still promoting healthy eating habits. With a background in food sciences, I thought it would be easy to create the perfect recipe. However, in today's society where children have grown so accustomed to fatty and greasy foods, it quickly became a greater challenge than initially predicted. Over time, I carefully hand-selected a variety of purely natural ingredients including whole grains, dried fruits and nuts, and created a recipe for a chewy, soft granola cookie that they ultimately loved. Later that summer, when my mother (who is diabetic), immigrated to America, she helped me to improve my recipe and further enhance the level of nutrition by only using natural sweeteners such as honey and molasses.
The unexpected journey of Naked Granola, the company, started in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania where I participated in a tennis league. Friends of mine quickly became fans of the granola I brought with me to tennis games. They liked it so much they were excited to share it with their friends and families. Before long I realized I had a product everyone loved and wanted to buy, and so our journey began.
